Prevent wrinkles and soften lines with cosmetic Botox

As we age and expose our skin to sun and other factors, our skin becomes less elastic. Repeated muscular contractions like frowning and squinting amplify the aging process by making us more susceptible to wrinkles and fine lines. Treatment with Botox Cosmetic can soften lines, prevent new lines from forming, and help you look refreshed without surgery or downtime.

How does Botox work?

Botox is an FDA-approved neuromodulator that relaxes the muscles that cause dynamic or ‘movement’ wrinkles. When Botox is injected into the muscle, it blocks the nerve impulse that causes the muscle to contract, thereby smoothing away the dynamic wrinkle overlying the muscle. Early treatment can prevent wrinkles from forming and gives the face a more relaxed and refreshed appearance. Results take full effect within fourteen days and often last between three and four months.

What areas can be treated?

  • Forehead lines from lifting or “spocking”

  • Frown lines between the eyes commonly referred to as “the elevens”

  • Fine lines around the eyes commonly referred to as “crow’s feet”

  • Gums to relax the lips and treat a ‘gummy smile”

  • Upper “lip flip” to give the effect of fuller lips

  • Protruding neck bands

Treat migraines and other conditions with medical Botox

Medical Botox can help you take back control of your body and mind. Patients suffering with chronic migraine headaches, excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), jaw grinding, and muscle spasms such as Dystonia and lockjaw can find ongoing relief through Botox prescribed by a physician and administered every 85 days. It may take up to three treatment cycles to achieve the best response.

What are common treatments?

Excessive sweating

Botox Medical is an effective treatment for Primary Focal Hyperhidrosis localized in the underarms, hands, feet and other areas—by paralyzing overactive sweat glands.

Chronic migraines

Botox Medical can significantly reduce the number of headache days per month in chronic migraine sufferers—by disrupting pain transmission between the central nervous system in the brain and the nerves that extend from the spinal cord.

Jaw tension

Botox can relieve TMJ and jaw tension in patients that grind their teeth—by relaxing overactive muscles in the masseters and forehead.
